cool grey and wet today
the bats head in legions
to the botanic gardens
for friday 13th party night
the satanic creatures darken the sky
bigger in numbers than ever before
carriers of the deadly virus
now a protected species
they become more contemptuous
screeching and shit bombing
all the cars on their way
knowing they are beyond reproach
well that's what they think
until one of them kills the wrong person
(somebody who counts )
then it will all change
