With Shakespeare Quotes

Georges Correface
in action how like an angel!
in apprehension how like a god !
come live with me and be my love
and i will make you cups of tea
laced with ouzo retsina yippee !

i wandered lonely as a cloud
but now
Under love's heavy burden do I sink

what a piece of work is man
not so much brain as ear wax!
Love is merely a madness

Whoever loved that loved not at first sight
And so, all yours
The prize of all too precious you
Sit by my side and let the world slip;
This is a fun collection!
ReplyDeleteOkay, these made me smile, especially love's heavy burden and the not killing them in their sleep. LOL. Made my day!
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your humor, Rall :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny.... I love the pictures you chose and the additions to WS's quotes.
ReplyDeleteYou have to give to Bill he certainly had a way with words. I especially like "...man not so much a brain as earwax!"
ReplyDeleteHi Rall, Half way through, the voice of your poem changed her mind about love--but then invites the wonderful man--tthe actor(?) to sit by her side. DOes she only love through poetic illusion? I like the quotes you chose from Shakespeare and the Wordsworth as well.
ReplyDeleteA most excellent collage of him that is man!
ReplyDeleteLove this:
in action how like an angel!
in apprehension how like a god !
come live with me and be my love
and i will make you cups of tea
laced with ouzo retsina yippee !
(I think Shakespeare was on a high when he wrote of man!)
