Crown Of Thorns

haiku horizons

Half of the barrier reef coral cover has been destroyed since 1985.
Forty per cent by the crown of thorns star fish. The larvae feed off algae blooms, which have proliferated, because of pollution by nutrients from run off into the ocean.
