Never heard of her, Rall, but I looked her up and we share a birthday! Also, she seems to really excel at still life paintings which seem to me to be some of the most technically difficult art I could imagine! Thanks for sharing.
She lived across the road from me and I did not know who that dotty old lady with a straw hat and apron was. Her house was her inspiration . She excelled in still life. She has never received the formal accolades that other Australian visual artists have received. Fruit flowers and still life are not in vogue in the modern art world....but in the future when there is a renaissance, if the planet survives....she will be given the deserved recognition.
