Such a wonderfully chilling poem Rall! I long for more about Mrs. Rochester.
In "Jane Eyre" , Mrs Rochester was locked up in the attic because she was dangerously insane. Jean Rhys in "Wide Sargasso Sea" gives a sympathetic explanation of Mrs Rochester's situation. Highly recommended read.
