Galileo
liked throwing canon balls
from the top of the leaning tower of pisa
it was fun
worked out size doesn't matter
big and small
get there in the end
hit the ground at the same time
nowadays the judge does not
accept scientific experiments
as an excuse
drop canon balls into the traffic
from the overpass
and you go to prison

hahaha nice one
ReplyDeleteHa ha, love your wicked humour. Nice take on the prompt.
ReplyDeleteI think you be very annoyed too if he tried at Pisa again with the crowds that used to be there.
ReplyDeleteWicked humor indeed!
ReplyDeleteDark delightful humor
ReplyDeleteInteresting take on the links between freedom and science from so long ago and today. Such a contrast between "real" and "fake." Glad to see you writing poetry this month . . .
