Sunday Muse # 145

 pristine and inviting

maybe for some

however

nothing could  lure me away

from a white sandy beach

under a bright blue sky

the only snow i will ever see again

is in my freezer

due for defrosting

  1. I love the true to your heart direction you headed Rall! The beach is indeed a magical place too. The ending made me laugh. Love it!!

  2. I love looking at the snow... don't like being in it. Clever last line.

  3. I'm for just shutting that door and letting it go. Winter wonderland in the freezer, little igloos, polar bears wandering around after they escaped from the pork chop package. Sledding peas.

  4. I will now quote something my younger sister said to our Mother when she was six years old ... "Get back in the kitchen where you belong!" I long for sand, surf, sun, warmth.

  5. I think you have found your place of heart. There is plenty of snow here and more on the way and it is extremely cold. I'd take a nice sunny beach about now.

  10. Snow is lovely as long as you are on the side of the window that has the log fire.
