The Sunday Muse # 184

diogenese carried a lamp day and night

in search of an honest man

he wandered from place to place

until someone stole his lamp

oh well in that regard

nothing much has changed

in a few thousand years

  2. Fundamentally dishonest as a species? That's too dark for one lamp.

  6. This was a fun read. I reviewed just a little on Diogenes.
"He was born in Sinope, an Ionian colony on the Black Sea
coast of Anatolia in 412 or 404 BC and died at Corinth in 323 BC."

  7. I chuckled at this. But I still want to believe there are honest men and women.
