it's wednesday
this is what i know
it is miraculous
that i have lasted this long
i am totally unsuited
to reality and real life
this is what i know
there are good kind strangers
out there
with lovely hearts
whom ive encountered lately
when i most needed to
this is what i know
( not much really )
cats are beautiful
a sweet orange is delicious
music is wonderful
these cool looking kids
are super talented
....................................................
and it's not even thursday

ReplyDeleteI have felt like that so often, Rall, totally unsuited to reality and real life, but I too have remembered the kindness of strangers. And yes, cats are beautiful and music is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I like your pictures, Rall. And the kids are indeed talented, and they will be destined to have a great future, I think. Second of all, I like your poem because you wrote it in the here and now, told what you know today.....and that IS what poetry is!
