it had some moments
but humans ruined it all
by destroying everything
it's the nature of the beast
causing so much suffering
who knows
if the lion will ever lie down

Although what I wrote reflected a different decision, I understand your point of view all too well.
ReplyDeleteHumans are such an incredible dichotomy - they are the best, and the worst. Most response to the prompt want to linger in nature, rather than linger with humans.
