what is limerence
not lemonade nor a limerick
not a lust bucket's love story...
nor for sensible grownups
could be a flirtation with irish romance
certainly not with st. patrick.....
limerence is a fascination for a need not easily met
a delicious fantasy feeding on imagination
not suited to the pragmatic or regimented
something more for the impractical poet and dreamer....
pie in the sky over the moon stuff
away with the pixies dancing on rainbows
destined for disappointment and tears
until a fast recovery
makes way for the next time
