Tanka Tuesday Challenge #15

 MIRROR CINQUAIN

so small
so cramped this flat
the balcony gives her
some  welcome relief from squalor
poor love
flowers
to look at placed on a table
pretends it's a garden
she sips her tea
and dreams

CINQUAIN

surprise
what a great view
when the door is open
a beautiful summer's day is
revealed

CINQUAIN

teaching
him the piano
is not an easy thing
there are a lot of distractions
it seems

  4. Fantastic take! I am distracted by the scars on the woman's neck and arm.

  6. Loved all three of these, so different, but yet I found a sense of hope in each one. Evocative.
