WELL HI THERE
NaPoWriMo 2010 poem Day 6
Prompt : a photo inspiring some free verse
WELL HI THERE
I'm Fairy Moans
the famous cabaret Queen
artiste extraordinaire
toastette fashion icon
At Your Service
I sing
I dance
I prance
I'm an A list hit
Everybody loves a name
in much demand
Mind you, I do remember a time
Before the hair, when they spat on me
Baying for a crucifixion
Now they ask for an autograph
the famous cabaret Queen
artiste extraordinaire
toastette fashion icon
At Your Service
I sing
I dance
I prance
I'm an A list hit
Everybody loves a name
in much demand
Mind you, I do remember a time
Before the hair, when they spat on me
Baying for a crucifixion
Now they ask for an autograph

So often the way it goes.
ReplyDeleteHi Rall,
ReplyDeleteNice to see someone going from zero to hero. Let's hope she can stay up there.
Oh mama! Ain't she somethin'??? Well done!

ReplyDeleteThis made me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteI am mesmerised by the hair.I must get a hairdo
ReplyDeletelike this before I die.
Times and fashions change, I hope Fairy enjoys that 15-minute ride. A fun use of the prompt.
ReplyDeletePlease remove all picture4s of my Mother cavorting in lurid dresses. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI think that hair could house a family of four comfortably.
ReplyDeleteCecil Jeeves, I think your Mother's frocks are very nice.I did not realise Fairy Moans was your Mum but now that you mention it I do note a family resemblance. The hair maybe.
ReplyDeleteI suppose she could always start a poetry site
ReplyDeleteFrancis.

ReplyDeleteshe must have the strongest neck in the universe. the weight of the hairspray alone would bend steel
