WELL HI THERE

NaPoWriMo  2010 poem Day 6
Prompt : a photo inspiring some free verse

WELL HI THERE
I'm Fairy Moans
the famous cabaret Queen
artiste extraordinaire
toastette fashion icon
At Your Service

I sing
I dance
I prance
I'm an A list hit
Everybody loves a name
in much demand

Mind you, I do remember a time
Before the hair, when they spat on me
Baying for a crucifixion
Now they ask for an autograph

Nice to see someone going from zero to hero. Let's hope she can stay up there.

  17. Thanks Linda. I champion the overlooked oppressed...Drag Queens, rejected wealthy wives,
or brilliant innovative people from any arena whose necks bear the finger prints of the dead hand of conformity...unrecognised rejectementa.
