A Dverse Trip

Leovi image

Flies in the buttermilk shoo fly shoo
Lost my partner what'll I do
Honey stripes toffee amber  boo hoo
Trippin'  on the beach my darlin'

What are those sand crabs doin' to you
Lucy in the sky green ice blocks too
I'm a little teapot so are you
Trippin on the beach my darlin'

The jeweled giant clam is singin' a song
Happy little vegemite he got it all wrong
There's a hole in my bucket ding dang dong
Flippin' out on the beach my darlin'

I saw a giant prawn in the sky
Trying to avenge the sad meat pies
Paddle pops tim tams give me a high
Trippin' on the beach my darlin'

Yoohoo!

    1. It is based on that old folk song " Trip to my Lou My Darling "

Glad you enjoyed the trip :)

  17. I love it! I sang it. So clever and colorful, Rall, with Lucy in the sky and I'm a little teapot and there's a hole in my bucket. What should you/we do in the face of the bad news? Play, love, enjoy. Thank you.

  19. A poem of psychedelic fun, Rall! I especially like the lines:
‘What are those sand crabs doin' to you
Lucy in the sky green ice blocks too
I'm a little teapot so are you’.
