Sunday Scribblings/Poets United

the flight of the bumble bee
a constant buzzing in his head

a torture chamber of talent
transmitted through a cigarette
to his tapered beautiful fingers

flitting amongst the ash of promise
darting about the keyboard

  9. Geoffrey Rush did a tremendous job of showing the plight/life of David Helfgott. As a person with mental disorders, I have always been fascinated; when I am manic, well, you described it EXACTLY. I live it every once in a while, and you are spot on. Brill write! Amy
