For The Weekend

grumpy old grandpa
goes rooting round
in the garden at dawn

to lay traps for the possums
all of a sudden he espies
his lovely neighbour
at her window

he whistles and dances
trying to attract her attention
she slams the window shut
and his little hearts sinks
back into his striped pajamas

  1. The good thing about grumpy granddad's is you can give them back at the end of their visits.

'Strange people' aside, is any solid granddad grumpy whilst fulfilling his granddaddy duties? Okay, some are most certainly 'odd' in their private lives; they have wives so have good reason, but not in front of the grandchildren!

Funny poem - made me chuckle.
