like Matthew Flinders
around the coastline
open a language school
open a take away business
"real food for real people"
live on a boat
paint a mural
write a book
"living in luxury on dimes
recycling rags to riches"
go kayaking
learn photoshop

donate 50% of my imagination
to the government

" move house in a mini"
learn to cut a fringe
but now
i have run out of time
there is not enough time

  1. Yes, time is a great healer but also a great enemy, so many dreams so little time for the liberty to do them, Love this and that way it presses on.

  2. Nice picture for Time! Time kills and loves people in many ways!

  3. Yikes. The last lines put an abrupt change to the tone. I like it, especially the sombering end. But it took my by surprise. And I love the line that you promised to make somebody's day!

  4. This is quite a list, Rallentanda! No wonder you ran out of time. Hopefully you can select prioroties and find contentment.

  5. I don't think I would have that many things on my list of things I'd want to do. I admire this list really. As long as a person is alive, there is still time though....to do even a few would be an accomplishment.

  8. A fine list! (I have a fine list too but blame the third glass).
Even if you only cross a few off the list you will be far ahead of those without a list.

  9. Rallentanda, what a list! So many great ideas. My personal fav was "donate 50% of my imagination to the government" you made me laugh out loud! Love your book titles too. I used to have a long list and then I realized my heart wasn't in it. My list was shortened to "Fun" I have a feeling you had fun with this list ;-)

  12. Ah, indeed! "Ars longa, vita brevis"! I could identify with so many things you want to do, Rallentanda. But like you, I am beginning to pay more heed to the "rallentando" marking on the score...
