Mouse House

haiku horizons

when things go pear shaped
miss mouse takes refuge
in her teapot house

fussing about
cooking up a storm
preparing for winter

  1. I was just wondering the other day. Where does the phrase "go pear-shaped" come from and what does it mean?

I enjoyed the story quality of these. I could use my own teapot to take refuge in right now.

  2. A wonderful laugh is what you give me. But there is much wisdom here.

  3. How spoiled we humans are, this mouse tells it how it should be...she "prepares" for winter...we wait for the sky to fall.
