mindlovemisery's menagerie

Edvard Munch
scandinavian scream
dark skies black ice frozen sea
bleak deep despair

Marius Markowski
tropical scream
insanity doused in heat
crushed papaya split
3WW

hushed silent screams
less annoying for those who
blind themselves to pain of others
turning a deaf ear to suffering
because it is easier
Love your paradoxical sense of humor....haha ( if I can?)
ReplyDeleteYou can indeed ! Not easy to tune in to my mind.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I do enjoy how your mind works! That second picture is quite the knock off :-) "bleak deep despair"--liked that too. Worked well to evoke the mood.
ReplyDeleteThank you. The fact that you like the way my mind works places you in about
Delete.1% of the population. Hope this does not alarm you (chuckles !)
I think the way in which we scream is a journey - in the end you do it silently often because no one wants to hear...but then what do we give up? or hope to find another way to say how we feel...
ReplyDeleteYes, it is easier to turn a deaf ear to those screams. Because sometimes we are also screaming within ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI see suffering as a thread that binds the entire world, like love and pain. Everyone suffers in some way or the other.
I wonder.
There is a dark humor in your words, which I absolutely loved. :-)

P.s. That header is breathtaking.
Everyone suffers but if you can help one person that's good
ReplyDeleteThese are vivid and intense and that last one really packs a punch how often we turn a blind eye!
ReplyDeleteGreat piece of writing !!!
