Ah ... poor thing .. and it looks so very health! Wonderful haiku though.
This makes me think of Dylan Thomas - "do not go gentle" -- it's as if the willow is raging against the dying of the light. Yes -- this is a great write. :)
Oh the sound of the death rattle. All to familiar some days.
