and calling it art

who is the loony?
i believe you kept your atelier
pristine and organised
unusual for a visual artist
unlike Francis Bacon's cesspit
is this rall being judgemental again?

housing his doodles and daubs in

childlike and edible
a rainbow cake of the mind
sugar and marzipan on canvas
touch of a christmas party about it
you died on christmas day
now how did you manage that?:)
i hope you are daubing and doodling
wherever you are
grafitti - ing the entire establishment/zone
in dauber's / doodler's paradise
if you are living next door
to francis bacon
that could present a problem
then again
he might be located in a different area
to you

ReplyDeleteI like to think that being 'loony' will one day pay off - and you have made me smile and think it's ok to be a bit loopy - if you can create rainbow cake landscapes could there be a better heaven to transcend to - and who would want to live next to Francis Bacon - probably makes me and Alice look like balls of sunshine ;)

So, I'm sipping my coffee, procrastinating on starting my day and I decide to scroll down on your page. I notice an e-book, proceed to read it and it knocks my proverbial socks off! I LOVE it! I knew you had talent, it's obvious, but to read all the beautiful haiku and see the lovely matching photos, even some of your own art just set me up to have a most wonderful day. That's what art does. Congratulations Rail. And sorry that I never noticed this before.

ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed this and all the Miro pics. Coincidentally, the very first art print that I ever bought was a Miro. "Flight of the Dragonfly before the Sun" It hung in my living room for many years and it's amazing how much subtlety and depth becomes apparent in a Miro when you live with it for a while.
