Marriage..

Haiku Heights 1, Dverse

this hung above our bed
in a white ornate frame

we were just starting out
well i was at least
life was rich with possibilities

in that lovely old home
without a street number
framed by hanging baskets of
red geraniums

the best house in that beautiful street
now demolished for a highway
just like us

no fingerprints left
a pile of dusty ashes
is all that remains

  4. Liverpool Plains Northern NSW
I have a property there . The Chinese Conglomerate SANTOS wants to mine it but with a lot of local opposition from farmers has backed off and gone to ravage the Pilbara in WA.
