Just Because It's Wednesday
Helas, avril en vain me voue a l'amour.
Poetry Jam: Three Word Wednesday: Dverse
The chanteuse is Alizee and the guitarist just in case you noticed him ladies is Jean Felix Lalanne.
Jean Felix Lalanne
{sigh}
A talent to behold
His fingertips produce sizzling heat
Tis summer all year round
Listening to this French man
Watching him is taking a ride
on the back of Icarus
Scorched by the sun
But who's complaining!
I would traverse the globe
for this man
Be assigned as his personal slave
assistant,poet, page turner,whatever
Pretense?
Je crois que non!
(I think not)

sigh...is right! Wish I could understand the words - sounds beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's a love song. Keep the eyes riveted on Jean Felix and you don't need the words!:)
DeleteI see what you mean about the guitarist. I wasn't watching his fingers though. I found myself watching him make beautiful music with his eyes! I enjoyed the selection. There is nothing like a French love song to inspire a little 'heat.' (Words are inconsequential...LOL.)
ReplyDeleteHe sure does make beautiful music with his eyes...I just put the fingers in to fill up the poem..of course none of the gals will even notice his fingers LOL
Deleteha. i dont think google translate got the words right, dancing javanese...smiles...but i really dont care what she is saying, her voice is enough...what, there was a guy on stage...smiles...musicians, what is it they have...strong fingers surely...
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha....yes that's right technique..digital dexterity surely...I mean what else could it be Brian!:)

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this. Lovely! Good way to keep heat going all year round. It is wonderful to think about you posting from the other side of the world. I love that about the cyberworld of poetry.
ReplyDeleteThe guitarist is very talented ~ I wish I can understand the lyrics the girl is singing ~ In the meantime, I am melting into the music ~
ReplyDeleteGot to admit it, this guy's got it ladies. Rather dangerous, I'd say. The woman is right 'there' too - and so .....
