Reading La Coluratura reminds me that when I studied Italian with my mentor in Rome, she would always say to me: la coluratura, la coluratura....la lingua si deve parlare con la coluratura! Then she would go one about how Americans kept their mouths closed when speaking....she was engaging and how I loved her as my teacher for La Divina Commedia. Susie
