haiku horizons

walking along the lane to clovelly for a swim
picking scented geraniums and hibiscus
hearing the pounding of the waves in the distance
salt spray in the air -seafood night tonight
life does not get much better
in a place like this
it would be hard to deny
God's generosity
hope springs eternal
and has certainly blossomed
this year in our spring
Beautiful! :) Lovely images too.
ReplyDeleteAh lovely,I am almost jealous...we are headed for darkness soon here until the first snowfall
ReplyDeleteWow! This one made me smile:)-
ReplyDeleteI loved it! Spring brings new life and hope.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Rallentanda :)
ReplyDeleteNice lines...
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone say no to such a blossoming?
ReplyDeleteHope Laid Waste
Each morning when the sun rises I cannot deny the generosity of the universe. Very nice.

Sorry to post anon. Wordpress doesn't believe in me today.
A whiff of fresh air in the spring:)
ReplyDeletebeautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the painting with Jacaranda trees and the colonial building. Clovelly beach looks like a really safe beach to swim at. We have got to be quiet about Australia Rallentanda or else everyone will want to come here.
ReplyDeleteNo please NO!!!
ReplyDeleteour home is girt by sea
and there abides
a population of Rallentandas
(that should keep them away:)
Nice :) lovely images, yes in places like these we realize the gifts God gas showered on us
ReplyDeleteYet there are those who do precisely that: deny God's generosity. One wonders how they could...

You took me there, bouquet in hand. I shall not be able to resist forever.
ReplyDeletelovely to read this, since it's autumn here.
ReplyDeleteIt doesnt get much better, for certain. You live in such beauty! I lovew the painting above....yours, I am guessing? It is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteTo find a spring of hope any time of year is a great thing.

ReplyDeletethank you Rall for this sunny poem. i can see the beautiful hibiscus and hear the waves as they hit the sandy beach just by reading your poem. it feels so livening because it's currently Fall weather here.
ReplyDeleteI like this image of Spring, especially since we're headed into winter right now in the PNW.
