True, true. But Grand Final weekend, remember. Can't you hear the tribal drums beating? Mrs N and #3 son watching the game. Me hiding in teh study while trying to organise dinner with occasional sortees through the danger zone to the kitchen.
We are not a football family... erhem!...I would rather watch the Barchester Chronicles or watch clothes spinning in the dryer. However I would watch football rather than listen to John Laws read his poetry. I don't believe in capital punishment but for his excruciating attempts at verse I would make an exception.l Enjoy your dinner.
T'was good. Home made ravioli with burnt butter and crispy sage, chickpea pancakes with cauliflower mash and sliced lamb, hazelnut torte with homemad coffee icecream. I bet Mrs N wont get any of them in Asia.
I don't think my weekend will be anything like that!
ReplyDeleteYou cannot be absolutely sure, It is only Friday...Enjoy your weekend:)

ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful. No she wont. Just some crispy duck and rice served by one of those gorgeous house boys (sigh):)
ReplyDeleteThat's enough, surely! ;-)
