Rainy Monday

dverse

it's raining
taking today off
staying in bed

phone off
looking out
onto the terrace roofs

brunch in bed
pineapple juice and coffee
raindrops on the window

branches softly waving
against a grey sky
luxuriating in laziness

a time for gazing out
marvelling at the drips
running down the windows

water ballet on glass
daydreaming
nice

  1. Good. Make the most of it. I'm sure it's well deserved. What? No? Nevermind, take it anyway.

  2. It is not a question of "Stop the world I want to get off" it is more, "OK world, its time to revolve around me, fair is fair." You go for it.

  7. That sounds like a good plan - do you think I could do that for a whole rainy week or for the whole month of November?
Water ballet on glass is so much more positive than the name I usually give to the relentless rain.
