Sunday Scribblings

red hot pokers
dazzling and dramatic
summer flowers
flushed with rage
in need of a calm embrace
from a dogwood branch
in full soft spring bloom
cherry pink and white

September Heights

the path is not straight
as long as you are close by
i'll ride out the storm

  2. We all need opposites in our life. The diametrically opposed hot and cold can create a warm composite.

  9. Both are good. The Haiku I think may be better transposing the first and third lines.
