For the Victorians and South Australians sweltering . Keep Cool !

dverse


slap yourself with a
wet fish, slip slap slop on the
ole suntan lotion

stress of a heatwave
like unrequited love burns
just unbearable

the only relief
cool off drift away in dreams
stay calm float on ice

      Heard about the Aussies sweltering while the Yankees are shivering. Not just people but the weather that goes extreme too!

    I am a huge tennis fan, it is so hard to watch the competitors suffer in that extreme heat ....

      It is outrageous...I don't know why these tournaments are held during these months...it's ridiculous...Unless you live on on the water...summers here now are practically unliveable !

    Thanks folks...it's a stinker here today (Friday) . I'm lucky I live on the coast but spare a thought for the poor buggers out west frying ! I could do with some of that snow you lot complain about. Will now go and stick my head in the freezer and pretend I am where you are :)
